Iizuna is a 30-minute drive from urban areas and is located in the northern area of Nagano Prefec-ture. The area’s cool climate and large temperature swings between day and night create delicious crops,and many new products created from the town’s harvest are being launched. This article introduces the appeal of Iizuna food, along with the activities of its citizens.
