Each salmon-and-kombu seaweed roll is made carefully by hand, using crispy and flavorful kombu seaweed from Sanriku, one of the world's best fishing grounds, and farmed coho salmon from Miyagi. The fresh Pacific saury caught in Sanriku is stewed slowly with traditional sauce, accentuated with ginger. The cold-smoked chicken has a rich, moist and soft texture, made with rare purebred Japanese chicken from Iwate. The pack also showcases a wide range of other ingredients from Tohoku, including scallops caught in Mutsu Bay, Aomori, and salmon and North Pacific giant octopus from Sanriku, cold-smoked to be soft and incredibly tasty, perfect with an alcoholic beverage.
