From Thursday, May 25 to Thursday, June 1, PHOTOHARVEST, a SHUN GATE photo exhibition, will be held at Marugoto Nippon in Asakusa.
The photos, all of which are taken by SHUN GATE photographers, illustrate the beautiful local cultures associated with foods from many regions. The photographs will take you away to the places where they were taken and present you with heartwarming moments.
Chizu graduated from the school of photography at the Kyushu Sangyo University Zokei Junior College of Art and Design. She now works for STUDIO FOBOS and is an apprentice of Yoshinori Onda.
She currently works as a photographer.
Koji worked for a studio in Tokyo before becoming an independent photographer. His work mainly covers portraits, fashion, music and architecture. Currently, he is working on a variety of things, not limiting himself to the field of photography.
Yuta graduated from the Department of Photography, Faculty of Arts at the Tokyo Polytechnic University. He was an assistant at Magazine House and an advertisement production company before becoming an independent photographer.
Chie studied photography at Santa Monica College. After graduation, she returned to Japan and apprenticed as an assistant to a photographer. Since 2014, she has been a freelance photographer, building on her previous experiences.
Satoshi works for Good Mornings, a company that prepares various venues and locations.
He handles catering for art museums and other institutions, is a food advisor at stores and also works as a photographer.
During the exhibition, the café and restaurant on the same floor of the exhibition hall, Café M/N, will have a special SHUN GATE menu.
This is a fantastic opportunity to sample the fine local delicacies that have been posted on the SHUN GATE website.
